Eastern Commercial Lawyers

Registered Clubs, Licensing, Hospitality and Gaming

Our Registered Clubs, Licensing and Hospitality and Gaming Group acts primarily for registered clubs and gaming manufacturers in all commercial dealings including those with statutory authorities and the various service providers and suppliers. We also act for a number of hoteliers and other premises licensed under the Liquor Act 1982.

The liquor and gaming industry is highly regulated under complex law. The legal framework in this industry is under constant review and scrutiny by the authorities and public interest groups. As a result, the industry has become extremely competitive and legal issues often require a high degree of operational and legal industry knowledge.

Tony Johnston manages our Registered Clubs, Licensing, Hospitality and Gaming team and specialises in liquor licensing and gaming laws. Tony has an employment background in the hospitality and gaming industry.

Tony advises many of the largest through to the smallest registered clubs in New South Wales. He provides a range of advice on compliance, prosecutions and complaints, corporate governance, amalgamations, catering and other essential service contracts and agreements and employment related issues.

Our clients include large and small metropolitan and country registered clubs;

  • Hotels and Resorts

  • Retail bottleshops

  • Vignerons
